Senior Sales Developer - UK/ France/ Germany

As a Senior Sales Developer at Crowdtech, you will be responsible for following up on high-value leads and independently creating major deals within specific sectors, in the UK, France or Germany. You’ll be our star when it comes to closing deals.

What will you be doing?
As part of the New Business Sales team, based in Amsterdam, you’ll bring the expertise needed to close (large) deals. You’ll handle high-value leads from the moment they come in right through to closing, always working closely with a Product Specialist.
You won’t just rely on inbound requests—you know your way around the networks of large (international) organisations and A-brands, as well as research agencies that could excel with our technology. In short, you’ll be the one bringing in the major deals. That means you’ll play a key role in Crowdtech’s growth. Ready for the challenge?
+ Act fast—jump on a lead immediately and communicate quicker than the competition. Your lead qualification questions are spot-on, so the proposal perfectly matches the client’s needs.
+ You don’t depend on inbound leads—you’re constantly sowing seeds. You’ll do this strategically, in consultation with the Sales Director, identifying sectors with strong needs that match our technology (based on ICPs and buyer personas). From first contact to closing, you can handle it yourself.
+ Based on your analysis and plan, you brief Marketing when you need their support to succeed. You’ll also have access to the latest sales technology, such as a user-friendly CRM (HubSpot). Dashboards will show you where action is needed and how the pipeline looks. Will you hit your bonus, or is there someone you still need to call?
+ Deliver tailored product demos together with a Product Specialist, showcasing features such as Conversational Survey, Crowdtech Scoring, or an Insight Community. Naturally, you’ll be curious about how the platform works yourself.
+ Network at events and spot potential new clients—we attend an event abroad roughly every other month.
+ Once a deal is closed, you hand over to the Customer Success Team (and Product Specialists) to ensure the new client thrives.

Who are you?
You’re independent, entrepreneurial, and a strong communicator. With your client focus and tech-savviness, you can easily translate customer needs into technological solutions, convincing them to choose a Crowdtech solution.
+ We’re looking for an experienced sales professional with at least 5 years’ experience. SaaS and market research experience is a plus.
+ You hold at least a bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent).
+ You’re a great listener and know how to dig deeper to uncover real needs. Clear communication and keeping commitments are crucial—you know how to present yourself professionally in both speech and writing.
+ You have an affinity for software/cloud services.
+ You’re commercially driven, proactive, and persistent.
+ You’re a true team player—but you like to score just that little bit more than the rest 😉.
+ Naturally social and curious by nature.
+ Exellent command of English (or French/ German).
The team
Our team is based in the Amsterdam office. For this role, living the UK, France or German is an option. The commercial team consists of three entrepreneurial colleagues, responsible for developing, expanding, and selling our platform to new clients. Your contacts will be researchers, and marketing, HR, and IT managers at both international and national companies, including Coca-Cola, Footlocker, Videoland, ABN AMRO, local councils, and research agencies.
